The Story...

In the latter half of the 22nd century, Earth’s nuclear age is about to end, but what most people don’t know is that the Technological Age of Man is about to end as well.

The passage of time has turned the meta-humans into legend and fantasy, but their presence in Earth’s past and in Earth’s future is about to become quite real. Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Goblins, Trolls, and Dragons - creatures from myth brought back into our current reality. Elven gods walk among the same trees as their devotees. Still, one timeless struggle remains: the struggle between good and evil. These fundamentally opposite forces will collide and the Earth will find itself in peril once again.

Before this can happen, a young musician named Brian and a boy named Tim must set things in motion. By the time these young men and their companions find themselves "Between the Hammer and the Anvil," the forces around them take events to a whole new level.

An Elven Goddess named Alovine Ceaodine and her Knight-Clerics are the catalysts towards a new world order, one older than mankind. For the end of technology allows magic and psyonics to reemerge. Psyonics - the power of the mind to influence the physical world - is a power beyond the imaginings of some, a power to destroy and darken the world. For as powerful as magic is, psyonics is the power that rules the day. For Peter and Tim, and those who become part of their crusade, psyonics will push them to the limits of human ability. For only a human who has this power will become a Dragon Rider, a guardian of all that is good and light in the world. And that quest will take the humans into realms they could never have imagined.
